"We tried calling for a late check in HOURS before they said the office was closed.. they never answered the phone. As a result we showed up and of course they were closed. Had to book the last room that was available in Porec for the night after midnight for 3x what we paid for the room here. "It was a lovely property with beautiful views. I wish we would have had time to explore more of the area and the hotel amenities. I took off one star because we were not able to control the thermostat in our own room, which is important to me. We were told it was centrally controlled. It was very stuffy in the room but when we opened the door to the balcony to get air, any fan movement in the room stopped. Please consider letting guests control their room temperatures, especially when the weather is at least 10 degrees warmer than expected."
