Hotel was wonderful, beds were comfortable could use some new pillows. The staff were great very accommodating on whatever you needed.

I reserved a room with 2 beds for my sister and I for a one night stay at Sophia hotel. When we arrived at 4PM our room was not ready and Ian gave me two waters and two chocolate candy bars and offered two rooms with one bed in place of the one room with two beds on the newly renovated floor right next to each other at no extra charge. It worked out perfectly as we had our own space.

Property is great for walking. Great to go to Petco Park.

Breakfast was good. Nice location. Weird smell after housekeeping. Didn’t inform me when I let my cloth in the room after checkout

Overall, my stay at the Sentral was great. Location was key since I was attending Comic Con so walking back and forth took minutes. Great places to eat around the area and only a couple blocks from the gaslamp district. Felt secure and well taken care there especially late at night coming back to my room. Only complaint would be the entrance door and bathroom door of my room where it took some effort to close and open while the bathroom door was very noisy opening and closing. Besides that, would recommend others to stay and would come back myself as well.
