The hotel is an old mansion full of character and charm. The staff was excellent and the food was as well. We had a very enjoyable stay and recommend this place without hesitation.

The hotel is situated 10 min drive from Inverness airport.
The driveway and grounds leading to the hotel are quite magnificent and the staff are so friendly that after just one day it felt like we were staying with family.
A thoroughly enjoyable experience.

Very enjoyable one night stay. Good location for Loch Ness and Inverness. Our room was called Ness which we booked on a last minute deal which made it value for money. Breakfast was excellent we didn't have dinner in the hotel but instead went to a superb restaurant called Fiddler's in Drumnadrochit a village on Loch Ness about 15 minutes away where they have over 600 Malt Whiskies and great food. Need to book in advance, we were lucky to get a table.

We have travelled the Highlands for the past 10 days and this was by far the comfiest bed!! Exceeded our expectations for the price. Lovely cooked breakfast with an incredibly hardworking owner who could not do more for you.
Would definitely recommend and stay again if we’re back this way.

A last min booking, and full disclosure: I wasn't expecting much from a small regional hotel... but it was excellent.
A good sized room, clean, decent bathroom, with good water pressure, plenty of hot water, comfortable bed with nice bedding, friendly staff, bar on site, great breakfast.
I have stayed in large chain hotels that didn't provide all of those things!
If you need to stay in Inverness and want a straightforward warm, dry and welcoming room, with parking, a simple bar and good...

Booked this hotel as wanted somewhere near to Aviemore but without the prices. Got a tremendous deal for the 2 nights I needed. Arrived very tired to be greeted by Gareth the Manager, a very cheerful guy who was extremely helpful taking my luggage to the room for me. The room was at the front of the building but was relatively quite and free from too much traffic noise. It was a very comfortable room and I had one of the best nights sleep I had had in a year or more! The hotel restaurant is...
