I cannot share enough how beautiful this campus is!! The historic stone chapel is only steps from the Inn and is open if you want to go inside for a moment of private devotional. It is a LOVELY campus!

Comfy, cozy and quaint! 5 STARS!
We really enjoyed our stay at The Inn last weekend. It was cozy and clean! Really happy with all the extras that were at our fingertips. We have stayed in Faribault for years for hockey and have no idea how we missed this gem tucked away on campus. Highly recommend. Mary and Julie at the front desk were so hospitable and fun to chat with. Hope to see them again soon. 5-stars for sure!

Gem of a place to stey
The Inn is an amazing find! A real gem of a place to stay! Everything was wonderful about our stay. We were dropping off our daughter at Carleton college nearby. The Inn is clean, updated, a wonderful staff, has tons of nice little touches like coffee & snacks availability 24/7.

This wasn’t just a nights stay it was an experience. The grounds are gorgeous and the plants and landscaping kept me wanting to wander. Thank you for allowing visitors to stay on your campus.

THIS is the place.
If you find yourself going to Faribault, stay nowhere else. The Inn, the surrounding school grounds, the amenities, the staff, the town.... All top notch. I'd pay twice what I did to stay there again.

The grounds of the Shattuck Inn are gorgeous and really added to the enjoyment of our stay, from anything like going for walks to simply taking in the aesthetic beauty of the place. The staff was fantastic! So friendly and helpful. The location was also ideal for proximity to the family we were visiting, just a few minutes drive away. We would definitely recommend the Shattuck Inn to others and will certainly return.

Staff was exceptional - called to let me know about check in days in advance and the day of arrival, and was very courteous throughout our stay. The grounds, building and room were welcoming and clean. Would definitely recommend to anyone staying in Faribault!!!

The Inn was a beautifully restored building with lots of charm. It is nestled at the edge of the woods and is very peaceful. The staff were friendly and accommodating. It was nice having snacks and drinks available 24 hours.

We appreciated the opportunity to walk around the property. The trees are gorgeous and the grounds are meticulously cared for. The Inn provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Communication leading up to our stay was excellent and the front desk staff was friendly and helpful. At the last minute we had to bring our dog along and we were grateful that pets were allowed. Our only problem was that our electronic door keys did not work upon arrival and we had to call security to let us in.

It was a very nice place to stay. The building is old and has a long history, but everything looked new and clean inside. The exterior has an old world look to it, and we’ll maintained. The furniture and bed were comfortable. Staff was super friendly and helpful. my biggest complaint would be that the breakfast was a little sparse. Cereals, breads, muffins, and yogurt. I would recommend it and plan to return next time I am in town.

The Inn - Serene and Comfortable
The Inn was very peaceful and comfortable, a true retreat. I had my chihuahua with me, and she was welcomed for an additional fee. This really was a beautiful area of Faribault, so serene and quiet. If I had reason, I would definitely stay here again.
