"Lovely friendly staff, always remembering that I stayed before. We get the room we have requested.
We order a vegetarian roast which is outstanding, food delicious and hot.
Plenty of parking.
Depending where the room is you can hear the traffic going past in the evening & mornings but overall alovely stay.
That's why we keep going back and also you have a choice of breakfast part of the deal."

This charming medieval village centers around its 13th-century church with a remarkable painted ceiling worth exploring. Wander through the historic Eye Castle ruins and visit the nearby town of Diss for its peaceful Mere lake and weekly market.
I've stayed here once or twice a year for many years now for the simple I like it. The odd niggle maybe but who's perfect? Never a serious complaint. Staff always helpful. Food always good and freshly prepared. I could go on.

The property was clean.
George and Jordan were very welcoming. There was a choice of continental breakfast or cooked breakfast.
Parking is free.
We were really happy with our king room, there is a shower, toilet, sink and bath in our room.
The bedroom is very big, wardrobes.
Two very Happy customers and will definitely be back there again.

We picked this hotel at random whilst travelling towards Norwich just expecting an ordinary little pub. Imagine our surprise when we were shown to a roomy room with a large en suite. Also deciding to have dinner we were served a beautifully presented meal which would compete favorably with many of the restaurants in the area and beyond. The staff were friendly and well versed in the history of the area.

A guest house in Eye is typically a larger establishment with more rooms, offering a more hotel-like experience, and may provide additional amenities including luxury bedding. In contrast, a B&B is usually a smaller property that focuses primarily on providing a room and breakfast. A B&B is often more personal, and breakfast is typically included as part of the stay, but other services might be more limited compared to a guest house.
