"After placing our stay shortly prior to our required date we arrived at the room. Access to the unit was a bit sketchy. A key left in a dirty box outside the apartment. Fantastic stay for a week long birthday vacation to see the sights of Paris, everything is within 1/2hr walking distance. The metro is less than five minutes walk away and there is every kind of eatery close by. The closest landmark is the Eiffel tour which is only just a short 5 minute walk, with lots of patisseries on the way by for a quick coffee and a Croissant. We were very lucky and had a free room upgrade to a room with a view of the Eiffel Tower. We have had many trips to Paris and I can honestly say this was the best room we have ever had. It was very spacious with everything you could want for a lovely stay. It was unique in that not only could you see the tower from the bed but from the shower too. This must be the best room in the hotel. The staff were welcoming, friendly and helpfule and I would highly recommend this hotel.

Le Relais Montmartre is a beautiful "boutique" style hotel in the heart of Montmartre Village. The hotel not only boasts loads of Parisienne character and charm but it is also very warm and comfortable. It is perfectly positioned for Le Metro and for the lovely bars and restaurants in the surrounding area. The hotel staff were very welcoming and friendly and didn't laugh at our attempts to practice our conversational French! We would definitely like to return again sometime in the future.
