"So we happened to visit Paris during their hottest heatwave. The hotel has ac but it definitely can’t keep up with the heat. Its ductwork ac so an in room one on the wall probably would have worked better. It was warm if you’re trying to pack but we got home each night, took a cold shower, and once we relaxed it was manageable. Overnight we would use the blanket for our feet or legs. There’s no air in the bathroom so we kept that door closed. Shower door leaked water instead of keeping it in. So we just kept the towel bunched up there and hung it in the shower overnight. Shower pressure was great. Small room but of course that’s to be expected in Paris. We weren’t uncomfortable with the two of us and one big checked backpack, one smaller carry on backpack, and 2 personal items. FREE mini bar. You get to eat and drink everything in the fridge once and then it’s charged if you refill it. We had taken a 5 hour train so it was the perfect t arrival perk. Black out curtains and an insanely comfy bed. They offered breakfast for a fee but we just went out and tried different restaurants. Down the street from both a metro stop and a bike parking location for the e-bikes. It wasn’t a bad place to stay at all it was just hotter than we would have liked…. But all of Paris was."

"I recently had a room on level 4, with a very comfortable bed, as far from the elevator as it could be, so I didn't hear people going up and down through the night. Huge modern bathroom with a rainfall shower head (over the tub), privacy glass on those windows that opened, and a heated towel rack. Reception staff were great and it had someone there 24/7. The only minor negatives: there weren't many power sockets - so I unplugged one of the bedside lamps. The kettle socket didn't work either, but there was a powerboard behind the mini-fridge so just plugged it into that. No casting to the TV, but that didn't worry me. Location: an easy walk from Montparnasse station. It's opposite the mutli-storey commercial / shopping centre (which has a huge games arcade on the lowest level). A theatre district - shame it was on my way out of Paris and short on time. Plenty of food options (you can rent a pool table at the Indiana for a bit over €10 per hour). A huge Monoprix pretty close. Would totally stay there again."
