"I liked that the cabin was right next to the river. The cabin had a private hot tub that was relaxing to soak in under the starry night sky. The gas grill was a nice addition to the deck to grill food on. They're was plenty of chairs and tables around to sit . They have a horseshoe game there to play. They're was lots of wildlife animals near by. I would definitely like to go back and stay there again! Awesome hospitality! Thank you!"

"Large jacuzzi, indoor or outdoor pools and plenty of games including ping pong! Nightly fire with smores. Friendly staff. Decent breakfast and Starbucks coffee. Shuttle available or short drive to restaurants and shopping. Really like the atmosphere here. Lodge feel and daily housekeeping."

"My only regret is not staying longer. It was a beautiful property so quiet and with gorgeous views. The rooms were like if you had been in your own cabin. The dining options were good. Breakfast not included but the restaurant serves a nice breakfast. You’re so close to park and surrounding little spots that you have many options to eat and shop. The staff was very friendly. I hope to stay longer on my next visit. "

"We loved everything about our stay except for the breakfast. Very much below average. Minimal options and still ran out of items prior to the end of breakfast time. A little effort could improve the overall quality."

"The Expedition Lodge is very quirky and different, but in a good way! Definitely not a cookie cutter chain hotel...and you should like stairs, lol. The lodge seems to be built on a hill and there are several short sets of stairs in all directions from the lobby. There is an elevator that will bring you to some of the rooms, though. Front desk staff were very friendly and efficient, and provided suggestions on our RMNP itinerary. The lodge had THE MOST unique breakfast I've ever experienced where you could opt for breakfast or lunch-type options. They are renovating certain areas, too. We were very happy with our stay!"
