Rooms were super clean, staff was very friendly, really affordable for the location, breakfast is just grab and go so that is just fair. Definitely would stay again.
They take beautiful care of the motel. Rooms are all updated and very clean. Nice coffee bar, in the rooms. Towels in the bathroom were great, and we loved the pillows on the bed. Will be staying here again
Sweet family-owned lodging for a reasonable price. We were in the corner suite, which was perfect for us! The other rooms looked very small. Good location for everything we wanted to do.
The place has a non-corporate, non-chain homey feel. The rooms are very nice, and the staff was super friendly and helpful. I think the breakfast could have offered a little more, but was OK.
Our stay at Columbine Inn was great! Extremely easy place to stay at if you're just staying in Estes Park or making the trek to RMNP. Our room was cleaned every day & the hot tub was a great addition.
The property itself is rather uninteresting, standard motel/parking lot vibe. But if you are just looking for a spot to serve as a base for your other activities, this place works fine. Rooms are clean and modern, breakfast while simple is sufficient to give you a good start, and the staff are friendly and helpful.
A Five-Star Gem in Estes Park
The Columbine Inn is an outstanding choice for anyone looking for a memorable stay in Estes Park. This family-owned property reflects genuine pride of ownership in every detail. Everything was exceptionally clean, beautifully updated, and thoughtfully maintained—especially the remarkably comfortable bed and pillows.
The location was perfect for enjoying all that Estes Park has to offer, while the inn itself provided a welcoming and restful retreat. From check-in to check-out, we felt genuinely appreciated. The warm hospitality, excellent amenities, and attentive, professional service made our stay truly special.
If you are searching for a comfortable, spotless, and inviting place to stay in Estes Park, I highly recommend the Columbine Inn. It delivered a true five-star experience, and we would gladly return.
Place was excellent with nice breakfast, clean and friendly staff. Location was convenient as it was right near the Estees lake/park.Multiple sitting area outside the room with nice views.
Only thing that would have been better is hot tub. There was only one and we never got our turn to use it.
The Columbine has that old style feel of a nostalgic road side motel that mom and dad stopped by on your family vacation. They actually have real steel keys for your room, you cant find that anywhere. They have clean rooms, and that friendly "welcome home" staff!. Shirley at the front is aces in my book! Highly recommend this place for that old time memories!
This is a well maintained property. Very clean, nice breakfast, and so helpful with questions about the area. Also so quiet - even though the parking lot was full. Great place to stay!
We stayed for two night while visiting the Rocky Mountain National Park. A great choice. Family owed and operated. A smaller establishment but very accommodating, friendly, and informal. Rooms are small but very clean. The breakfast accommodation was great to start a day of sightseeing.
I booked a comfort studio with a king bed and fireplace. The room was spacious with a kitchenette, a sleep sofa at the foot of the king bed, fireplace and TV over the fireplace. The rook was nicely decorated and modern. The bathroom was beautifully renovated. There was also a closet in the entry and a massage chair in the corner. The room and general areas were clean and well maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful. There was a common area outside with a hot tub, grill and table and chairs but we did not use them. The kitchenette was well stocked with all the necessary items one would need. Parking was out side of the room. The inn is right off of Route 34, a short drive from downtown Estes Park. We only stayed one night but would definitely stay again. They also offer a continental breakfast.
We stayed one night in Estes Park before hiking in Rocky Mountain National Park the next day. The hotel was very clean, the staff was friendly and welcoming, and the location was perfect—close to restaurants, shops, and the entrance to the park. Our room was nicely decorated and looked newly remodeled, which made it feel fresh and inviting. The bathroom was a little on the small side, but it wasn't an issue for our one-night stay. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely stay here again.
