Stone trough hotel

"Booked a night at The Stone Trough for our Wedding Anniversary. It was a little overwhelming. I wanted to give it 3.5 but there wasn't an option and 3 is too low. The main shared areas of the hotel are pleasant and our evening meal was delicious with fantastic staff. However our room was tired, with wall paper coming away from the ceiling. There were some cobwebs, a small recent stain on the bed throw and dusty skirting boards. Just little things that a should be noticed and kept on top of by cleaning staff. The bathroom was clean but the shower kept oscillating between scalding hot and freezing cold, a maintenance issue. Also,my mistake but the photos make the hotel look as if it's in a small village on a quiet road, but in fact, it's on a main road and not in a quaint village. I think the motorhome stopover is a brilliant feature and worth every penny. There are nice gardens and places to sit out the back. It was fine for one night but glad we didn't pay for two."

"This busy hotel was a little out of town, very close to the railway station, and across a busy road from Morrisons. Although check in was a bit slow, the room and facilities were good, the bed was comfortable and the breakfast served by Valentino, was excellent. Access into town is much better if you manage to locate the canal at the back of the property. The hotel has a public bar with a good selection of drinks. All in all a good stay."

"For a number of years we have used the Crow Wood hotel & it has always maintained the excellent standard of pleasant staff, cleanliness & upkeep of facilities. Dining in any of the three restaurants is worthwhile."
Cambridge Hotel Bradford Central

"Compact double room with adequate space and facilities for me during this 2 night stay. Great bed and super pillows. Very nice shower. Iron and board provided and FREE WiFi! Reasonable breakfast for £6. No evening meal but very good delivery from local eateries. Vending machine onsite for snacks and emergencies if you've forgotten something like toothbrush/paste etc.... Onsite secure parking, lift to 2nd floor. Very polite and friendly staff. Would definitely stay again when next on business in Bradford."
