"Overall stay was ok, standard rooms are a little bit no frills but clean and comfortable. Buffet / restaurant staff weren’t the friendliest in my opinion, food was ok."

"I would describe the stay as travelodge level rooms- fairly basic. Probably a 2-3 star stat. Standard of cleanliness isn’t great- the room had a faint smell of damp or urines. The mugs in the room were also dirty The facilities were surprisingly impressive- a good sized pool and proper gym. We stayed here and spent the first day in Portsmouth and the second day in Chichester. It’s a good and accessible location."

"We recently stayed for 2 nights Friday-Sunday as we were attending a family wedding on Saturday. Checked in to the hotel at 8.50 and had a dinner reservation at 9. Upon going to our room at about 11 we noticed a letter from the hotel on the bed. Apparently their new policy is not to service the room for stays of more than one night unless they are asked. However you have to let them know by 10 the night before. As we were an hour late I telephoned reception but there was no answer. The following morning before breakfast we went to reception to ask for our room to be serviced sometime that day. We explained that we would be out from midday to midnight. The receptionist advised us that our room would be serviced later in the afternoon that day. Upon returning to our room "

"Lovely hotel, staff are very helpful. The hotel has found extra ways to charge the customer, for example parking now has a fee and this doesn’t even reserve a parking space, sometimes it’s full due to events or golf, being a guest doesn’t give you access to the spa, i booked a treatment with the spa and this treatment was around 80 mins, that should tell you how much it cost, and even that didnt give me access to the rest of the spa just the treatment room, though the treatment itself was amazing. I found the whole experience bizarre as I have never been to a four star hotel and was charged extra for literally everything apart from the room, wouldnt it make sense to make everything inclusive even if that means paying that bit extra?. Anyway that’s my take on the whole experience."

"Spa was amazing, I had a back massage which was so nice. The rooms could do with a bit of a touch up as some of the decor is bit tired now. Also Air conditioning would be a benefit we did have a fan but the room was so hot."

Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and their friendly approach really made the whole experience feel special and relaxed. The room itself was spotless and beautifully maintained. Everything was clean, fresh, and comfortable, which made it easy to settle in and enjoy the stay. It’s clear that a lot of care goes into keeping the rooms to such a high standard. Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The combination of such kind, helpful staff and a clean, comfortable room made my stay thoroughly enjoyable, and I would happily return again."
