"The Keelman is a gem. It is a county style pub. I had a room is an anex which was quiet and comfortable. The staff were friendly, helpfully and welcoming. I had a meal which was reasonably priced and very satisfying. I tried the beer - of course and The Bishop is an excellent real ale. The pub is beside the Country park and the river, which made for a very enjoyable walk"

"Tha staff were very helpful and polite, the hotel is well positioned for access to A1 and local bus route to Town. The room was perfect with plenty of room and an extra large bed. We had dinner in the hotel there was plenty of choice and all freshly cooked, excellent."

"This is a really lovely hotel perfectly situated near the centre of Alnwick. It has a a really relaxing atmosphere and the staff are brilliant. Wander a short distance out into the centre of Alnwick to browse round the multitude of artisan shops and stop for a drink in one of the welcoming pubs. Return for an excellent meal followed by a nightcap in the cozy bar. The only minor downside is the number of steps from the car park to reception although luggage can be dropped off at reception before parking your car. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay."

"We initially booked to stay for 4 nights with the aim of moving further north afterwards. However, the hotel, the room, its staff and the food, were all excellent and, as a result we stayed a further 3 nights. Housekeeping was first rate. Food in the restaurant saw very good (and we ate in every night). All of the staff were helpful and friendly (special mention to Jess on Reception). Overall, we enjoyed an excellent stay and would readily use the hotel again."
