Fantastic stay and facilities, we thoroughly enjoyed out little hideaway. This place is a hidden gem and we definitely will be back. Only downfalls are the fact that it isn't advertised so well as this property has huge potential, gym is a little on the small side and it most definitely could do with a onsite restaurant for gain revenue for the place to maximise the income but it didnt effect our stay as we had all the facilities we needed in our lodge and planned on going out anyhow.

It's been great Comfortable enough Not overly expensive Came the week before Christmas so Christmas activities on, which my 3 year old loved! We're vegan and they accommodated for us at breakfast All the staff have been super lovely. For us/the price, so much easier than coming to Thomasland last year We'd stay here again Do have to pay for car parking (we paid £7 for both nights) which isn't obvious.

Our room was clean and well appointed the staff were friendly and very helpful, the parking was great and the breakfast was excellent.

Stayed for 1 night, rooms are basic but very clean and the beds are comfy.Food was excellent and the breakfast was worth waiting for.

Clean and well presented room and bathroom. Quiet considering it’s above a pub. Ideal for town centre and surrounding attractions. Overnight parking included which is handy. Have stayed here several times and can’t fault, highly recommended. Does what it says on the tin 👍

Stunning Hotel Spa, room was superb, every staff member was happy and had time for you. The Spa was a dwlight to yse with a decent hot sauna & Steam room, jacuzzi jets were wonderfully powerful & a lovely pool to swim in. The bar food was great & the resturant food the next day was very tasty. Was an absolutely pleasure to stay there, coulfnt failt it.

This was the ideal stopover, we found the reception, public areas and our room clean and well cared for. All the staff we met, from the moment we arrived till the moment we left friendly and helpful. We ate in the restaurant for both dinner and breakfast and found the choice, presentation and taste really good.

Lovely weekend, spotlessly clean room, friendly staff, amazing food, would definitely recommend!

Absolutely amazing the room was just brill,the pool was so relaxing, the grounds were beautiful,staff were friendly and helpful, food was pricey but what do you expect with such an amazing place,we will defiantly be going back

We couldn’t have had a warmer welcome or to be made feel so valued as a guest. The room was lovely, the bed was very comfortable and everything was clean. We had all of the amenities we needed and more besides. Breakfast was lovely and were offered top ups of hot drinks. Probably one of the nicest places we’ve stayed in a while!

Nice hotel, nice friendly staff....breakfast was plentiful & good. A couple of things.. The room was cold & the electric heater was manually adjustable took quite a while to heat the room up. Another thing we had twin beds...my single mattress was terrible....soon at you ley on it it squashed to half its size & made a terrible noise like all the springs were coming apart...& I'm not a heavy person....other than that I would definitely recommend this hotel.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Really good stay all round. Staff were lovely, food was lovely and everything was spot on. The rooms are a little dated but very well maintained. For what you pay, you really can’t complain. Would definitely stay again.

We booked this hotel due to its location to Donington Circuit. The location was perfect, the circuit being about 10 minutes drive away (maximum). The owners were lovely and very friendly, Beverley helped us find somewhere to eat on a Sunday when everywhere else was closed or had finished serving. Although the hotel is on the main road, the small town of Melbourne is quiet and the road isn't busy - even on a bank holiday weekend. There are a number of places to eat nearby including a lovely...

Parking at NCP Birmingham High Street car park at discounted rate of £10.50, ensure you ask for exit ticket. Easy to find, clean and comfortable. Complimentary breakfast was good. Complimentary Hot beverages throughout the day near reception. Kitchenette was handy and fridge was convenient. Downside was bathroom sink was slow to drain and waste hole was so dirty.
