We had a great welcome after walking all day on the Pennine Way. The room was comfortable, clean and met our every need. The evening meal was delicious and ample. We would definitely recommend High Force Hotel.

I stayed here with my partner for a wedding. I got here around midday and fro that point onward everything was fantastic. All of the staff here were so friendly and accommodating, even arranging taxis for us and then keep an eye on them to arrive while we had a beer. Very prompt friendly and efficient book in even though staff were preparing for a busy night, room immaculate and clean all new bathroom. The drive to and from the hotel was breathtaking especially if you head for Carlisle like I did. Thanks for having me I hope to visit again. Best wishes Michael

My room was gorgeous. Actually, I have stayed here twice and both times had room 1. It is exquisitely decorated. The hotel has free WiFi and the was no problem downloading a webinar with video. The most fabulous thing on my stay were the Christmas decorations. There was a room with an oak beam ceiling hung with over 100 giant snowflakes. The result was stunning.

The staff were very welcoming and helpful on arrival. The room was comfortable, clean and we slept very well. The spa was nice to relax in and worth paying the extra £20 per person for as you could use it all day. Breakfast was freshly cooked and they had gluten free toast ands croissants and the restaurant food was delicious with a good choice of gluten free options.

Exceptionally pleasant and wonderful staff, Lovely big, very clean room. Food in the restaurant was very good. Would happily stay here again.

Had a really lovely night's stay. The bed was really comfy, the room was clean and well equipped, the staff were friendly and helpful. The food was good pub food with massive portions and very reasonable. Breakfast was delicious. The hotel is peaceful and in a lovely setting right opposite a beautiful old church.

The CB Inn has the best of a pub in terms of atmosphere and welcome, but the status of a hotel with the quality of the rooms and brilliant cuisine. All the staff were interested and knowledgeable about the food we ordered. The setting is idyllic, looking down the peaceful dale, with walks all around from the doorstep.

I had an economy room at an amazing low price and it is in a property immediately next to the hotel. The room is really nice and the bed is very comfortable.

Our stay at the Westgate Manor was one of the best hotel experiences we have had. Hosts, Stuart and Kathryn give a very high standard of personal service to us and made our short stay memorable. The Manor offers fantastic accommodation and a truly wonderful experience with young dear in the garden in the early morning and three peacocks roaming around! We will be back. Thank you.
