This hotel was immaculate. The room was very nice and had air conditioning, which was great during the heat wave when we were there. The attached restaurant/wine bar had a great breakfast. I highly recommend staying here.

Good location and right next to a bus stop. We arrived a bit early to check in and they cleaned our room a bit earlier so we could check in. Lovely spot overall.

Super convenient location, just half a block up from where the bus lets you off, direct from the airport. Easy walk into downtown and access to lots of amenities. The building was secure and key pick up and drop off was without a hitch.

Liked: Cleanliness
This property was conveniently located, but that's the good things stop. 1. There was no staff, it was self check in, but the checkin instructions were clear and easy to follow. 2. The property was really an old building and we the room in a basement with light from a patio door to a weed strewn patio. 3. The shower in the bathroom has only two options either water pressure or hot water. Both did not come together. 4. The plus side was the property manager close to a town, with just a few busy stops away, and the nearest bus stop was walkable, with good bus service. Would not stay again.

Easy stroll to a corner store where you can buy what ever you need. Room a decent size, with ensuite -basically functional toilet. The bathroom could benefit from a deep clean

4/10 Poor

Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities, property conditions & facilities
We stayed in room 9 which looked nothing like the photos advertised, we were hugely disappointed based on the money we had spent to stay there. There were areas in the room that were thick of dust. The bath was heavily stained, the shower curtain was mouldy, the radiator next to the toilet had brown splatters up it. Generally the room looked grotty and very tired, the taps on the sink were not matching and the paint work and decoration was shoddy. We were woken early by very loud banging, originally we thought someone was hammering the next room door but we think it was plumbing ‘clonking’. On the plus side, plenty of tea and coffee In the room (although no wrapped croissants at breakfast time as advertised) and the location was very good if needing to get to Murrayfield Stadium. Bus stop just outside that takes you in the city and a short walk to Haymarket train station.

I feel like all the people that rated this low didnt realize what they booked or read into it at all. Undeserved 1 stars. Overall a fine experience l. Personally didnt mind a bit of traffic white noise for sleeping to personally but everyone is different. I had a top floor room and it was fairly comfortable.

Wonderful stay.

Apart from the initial hiccup on arrival, the visit was one of the best I have spent in Edinburgh, I do visit the town regularly & I will indeed be spending time there again. The friendliness of the staff, attention to detail, the neatness & most of all the closeness to the town centre a definite plus. THANK YOU!
