In un campus universitario ... Tranquilla area

Posted 25-Aug-2015
Semplice ed essenziale .., si potrebbe definire così questo semplice hotel che in realtà è una dependance all'interno del campus universitario di Edimburgo...che dire carino silenziosa area con personale gentile, colazione abbondante.. Abbastanza vicina a Princess street a piedi 15 min

Nice area, close to the bus stop, outsite the city.

Posted 17-Aug-2015
Pros: The staff is very friendly. The location is nice . The breakfest was excellent, a lot of choise of food and high quality.
Cons: The rooms are to small.
Location: The location is outside the city, close to a bus stop. Near a swimming-pool and Arthur's seat.
Noise ousite our room , main road near. Noise inside, we hear all about the other rooms, people speaking. We didn't sleep well . The room is very basic , small ,like a room for student, and the price to expensif .

No problems

Posted 17-Aug-2015
Pros: Breakfast and location
Cons: We had no problems
Location: Close to the city centre. Even in heavy traffic for the Tattoo the taxi fare was only £8
Excellent all round, staff were helpful. However the mattress was "tired". Superb breakfast but thought the restaurant and buffet prices were high. Would stay there again.

Good Accommodation in University Halls.

Posted 17-Aug-2015
Pros: It was a good price and a convenient location. The breakfast was excellent; lots of choice from the buffet.
Location: Easy to get to city centre by bus or about a twenty to thirty minute walk. Close to start of walk for Arthur's Seat with its spectacular views.
We stayed one night whilst visiting the Edinburgh Tattoo. We arrived too early to check in but were given a parking permit and the offer of storing our luggage until we could check in. The receptionist was very helpful and gave us lots of useful information about getting around the city. Our room was 106 and was a bit noisy in the morning from just before 8:00 am. because it was directly above the kitchen. The room was clean and the bathroom small but adequate. .

Location: A bus ride away from town, so not too bad.
We were charged hotel prices for student accomadation. I was less than impressed and wouldnt book again and probably wouldnt use expedia again....

Staff were excellent, very friendly, the desk clerk on our arrival was particularly helpful. The walls are very thin but didn't cause a problem in this instance, however I could see how this could be an issue.

Close to Holyrood Park

Posted 24-Jul-2015
Pros: The staff, breakfasts were fabulous and the dinner menu was also delicious.
Cons: the lift wasn't working and the pillows were very flat and uncomfortable
Had a very hard time finding this hotel, but once there, the staff were very friendly. Easy walk to Holyrood Park and Arthurs Seat, and about 20 mins from the High Street.

Excellent clean, all facilities. Close to City.

Posted 17-Jul-2015
Very reasonable, clean room & great breakfast.Close to the City. Lovely views all around. Would visit again. Free parking was a real bonus too. Free shampoo & towels were a bonus too. Such a bargain beats Travelodge hands down. Only thing would improve check in - as only one person. With International visitors they didnt have all paperwork. With only one person checking in slowed it down. I will be recommending to everyone 😄🎉😄😄🎉😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄

Nice hotel close to city centre.

Posted 13-Jul-2015
Pros: What I liked most about the hotel was its locality, being so close to the city centre. I enjoyed a very good breakfast.
Cons: I don't think I could expect anything else of a budget hotel.
Location: Hotel is very close to city centre. It has a great view of Arthur's Seat. Situated within walking distance of the Parliament and the Science Museum.
I only needed bed and breakfast, since I was in Edinburgh for a wedding. However, I would return since it is so central.
