This charming apartment, only a minutes walk from Portobello beach, is situated on the second floor of a victorian tenement. Portobello has a lovely long sandy beach and offers plenty of great restaurants and cafes it is a destintaion in itself, but for guests also looking to explore edinburgh, you can reach Princes street by public transport in around 30 minutes or 20 minutes by car. Parking outside the apartment is free, although we cannot guarantee a space close to the apartment at busy times.
The 2 bedroom apartment sleeping up to 3 guests plus a baby has a lovely atmosphere and has been quirkly decorated in a bohemian style. The open plan kitchen living room with views towards the sea is furnished with a large kitchen table and antique chairs, there is a small fireplace with working gas fire and floor cushions. The well equipped kitchen area has a gas hob and electric oven, a small dishwasher, a toaster and an electric kettle. There is plenty of glass china, cutlery and cookware for guests wishing to eat at home. The washing machine is to be found in a laundry cupboard next to the kitchen area.
The main bedroom is furnished with a double bed, antique wardrobe, mirror and desk and chair positioned next to the window, which makes an ideal spot to complete a little work if need be.
The second single bedroom, furnished with a large single bed, also has a sofa and TV. (please note that the bed is very low to the floor and is not suitable for guests with mobility problems)
A bathroom with hip bath, shower over and basin and toilet completes the accommodation.

This flat is in an excellent location right by Portobello beach. The views from the flat are amazing. The flat is well equipped with everything that we needed.
Magnifique séjour appartement bien situé avec vue mer. Très bien équipé. A 20mn du centre ville en bus direct. Edimbourg est une ville avec beaucoup de charme. Nous avons visité le Britannia et Holyrood. Balade jusqu’au sommet de Arthur’s seat. Nous reviendrons car le séjour était trop court et il reste tellement de sites à voir.
Portobello ist ein wunderbarer Ort zum Relaxen, gut verbunden mit der City durch diverse Buslinien. Die Wohnung, direkt an der Strandpromenade gelegen mit Blick aufs Meer ist sehr gemütlich und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Es war eine perfekte Woche, wir kommen gerne wieder!
Excellent séjour en famille, tout était impeccable, la décoration de très bon goût, facilité d’accès et une belle vue sur la mer !
Nous reviendrons sans hésiter !
Es war ein ruhiger Rûckzugsort nach den lauten und hektischen Tagen in der Stadt. Der tolle Ausblick aus dem Küchenfenster hat uns wieder geerdet. Es ist kein modernes aber sehr gemütlichliches Appartement.
