Catcune Suite - Studio Apartment

Catcune Suite - Studio Apartment is a part of Harvieston Hall - grand 17th Century mansion house and is perfect for country retreats or just as accommodation in close proximity to Edinburgh. Catcune Suite can accommodate up to 2 people in 1 the living room with 2 single beds, 1 bathroom and small kitchen. Edinburgh city centre is just 30 minutes away, so you haven't got to go far to take advantage of all that this fantastic city has to offer!
Other things to note
NOTE: the flat is located on the ground floor with entrance from the back of the building.
There is no central heating at the property, portable heaters only.
The studio flat is located next door to the main house, and we provide the main house for a big groups / parties, so please, keep in mind that we don't have a quiet hours at the property, even at night time could be noisy next door.

All great, but...
The property had a few drawbacks during our 4-day stay in Scotland. While the overall experience was generally positive, there were a few areas that could use improvement: The beds were not very comfortable. They were two separate single beds pushed together rather than a proper double/queen bed. This caused the beds to shift and separate during the night, disrupting sleep. Additionally, the beds were at slightly different heights, which was awkward. Sound insulation from the ceiling was poor. We could hear a significant amount of noise from the unit above, including late at night and early morning. This noise made it difficult to sleep soundly. The property lacked a few basic cleaning supplies like a vacuum or broom. This made it challenging to tidy up during our stay, especially for cleaning up dirt/crumbs on the floors. Overall, the property served its purpose for our short stay. However, the issues with the beds, noise levels, and lack of cleaning supplies detracted from the experience. Some improvements in these areas could make the property more comfortable for future guests.
