Weekend Birthday Getaway
The pictures don’t do this place justice. It was even more beautiful than my wife and I imagined. We really enjoyed being able to walk hundreds of feet out into the ocean during low tide and the short trip up to Provincetown. The local food in Eastham was also amazing. Can’t wait to come back soon!

Everything I wanted
I was amazed by the cleanliness of the cottage. It was so perfect....just enough for a couple and one other adult. View was awesome, especially sunsets. Very easy to acccess restaurants, bike trail. Walked on the beach, swam at a lovely local pond beach. Lots of stairs down to the beach but there are hand rails on both sides. I'd definitely recommend this cottage.

A Hidden Gem!
We literally had a sea gull's eye view of the sunsets from the deck atop the dunes. As two senior women this little cottage was perfect for enjoying God's creation, savoring a glass of wine and reading a good book....oh yes, and swimming and enjoying all the usual Cape "stuff". The cottage itself was clean and well stocked. Wish the newer deck lounges were not so low to the ground and had cushions (were very uncomfortable)...not a big deal, but we were on the deck day and night!

Great vacation spot!
Nice little cottage and the view can’t be beat! Windows from the bedroom and dining area look out at the ocean, and there’s a great little patio on the back too. We filled up the bird feeder at the beginning of the week so we enjoyed the bird visitors as well as the ocean view. It was unseasonably cold the first couple of nights and there weren’t any extra blankets, just one thin blanket on each bed - we just grabbed one from a bed we weren’t using. I’d suggest having some extras there. The property is managed by Vacasa and they were not very responsive and didn’t seem to understand my messages. For instance, I sent them an FYI that the recycling wasn’t picked up that week and they responded by telling me the trash pickup schedule. When I messaged them at the beginning of the week because we couldn’t figure out how to turn the heat on, they didn’t respond for 3 days (we had figured it out in the meantime.) But the house itself is nice and the kitchen is pretty well stocked with cookware; in addition to the typical pots and pans there was a salad spinner and even an immersion blender. There were also a ton of books and games on hand. And again, the view and proximity to the beach was just perfect. I would stay there again.

Fabulous view
Just as others have said you can’t beat this location! Absolutely beautiful view and right on the beach. We were there in September and it was so peaceful and quiet. The stairs next to the cottage go right down to the sand and it’s a lovely beach for walking. The kitchen is very small but was still functional for us. The property isn’t fancy and could use a bit of updating but it’s easy to overlook because of the great view. It was nicely located in terms of going to Provincetown and Nantucket for day trips as well.

Happy Fiftieth Anniversary!
The willets, the laughing gulls and the oystermen were a delightful surprise. The tidal flats…to be able to venture almost a mile out at low tide was a mindful experience. We treasured being there.

Wonderful views!
Special location and very clean. A door and a/c were in need of repair. We let management know when we checked in and again 2 more times. The nice repair person called 6 days later and said he had just been contacted. That is very disappointing and if it had been a big problem we would have been very upset. Luckily a neighbor had helped us with one issue.

Great location!!!
The furniture is old and tired. They could spend a little money and upgrade the furniture especially the living room sofa and chairs. They could do a little landscaping around the property. The location is fantastic. They wouldn't have to do much to make this a really great little getaway. With all that said the view was awesome.

The property is a simple cottage on a beautiful location,—which probably explains the inflated price—but hasn’t been updated for decades and nothing works properly—from the toilet to the microwave. Beds were made with shoddy uncomfortable linens. Would not use again or recommend

Cottage is small but functional with many very nice updates. Clean! The view, of course, is spectacular. We would suggest some landscaping to rid this lovely spot of invasive plants and roses that are growing over walk areas. Perhaps some better chairs for the dining area? But overall, a great place.

Such a precious cottage and great deck out front. Beautiful view. The cottage was clean and comfortable and also well appointed. We would definitely stay there again. Vacasa was also very easy to contact and responsive when needed.

Cute cottage, amazing views.
The cottage is cute, just right for a group of four. The only this that went wrong was that it wasn't cleaned well, particularly the kitchen. The manager of the property refunded our cleaning fee, and I think it not being cleaned well was outsdie of the ordinary. Otherwise, the location is great, the cottage is sweet, and the ocean view is just gorgeous.

We went here for a mini-moon after our covid wedding. This place was super clean and awesome to be in. We did use the kitchen to make a few meals and the cook ware was good! The washer and dryer were clutch and the location is amazing. The backyard was so private and the outdoor shower was a dream. We can’t wait to go back.

Excellent Location
I will start by saying the location of this property was perfect for our family of 3 (2 adults and a teen). It looks out over Cape Cod Bay just north of First Encounter Beach. The staircase down to the beach is literally steps from the cottage. As someone else mentioned, the steps are underwater at high tide but it is easy enough to work around the tides for some great beach time. If it is high tide, First Encounter Beach is a 5-minute walk away. Beach towels are provided and there were beach chairs but they were in a storage container on the side of the house so I couldn't tell what condition they were in. We brought our own from home and used those instead. We wanted to bike the Cape Cod Rail Trail and the trail was only 1.2 miles from the cottage so we didn't have to load up the bikes and find parking which made our bike trips much easier. The cottage itself could use some maintenance. When we arrived the fridge was not cold so my husband used the vacuum to clean off the coils which helped a lot and we could safety store the dairy products we brought with us. But that's not exactly what we wanted to be doing the first day of our vacation. There was a note asking us to start towels in the washer when we checked out but the washer is missing knobs so we didn't do any laundry. The closet door does not open enough to open the dryer door so there must be some trick to it that I couldn't figure out. The sink in the bathroom drains really slowly which is probably a quick fix for a plumber. I"m surprised the cleaning service didn't ask that it be fixed. We did find the cottage to be very clean which is even more important during these times. It would be helpful if there were a few basics such as coffee filters, tissues and extra toilet paper. There was only 1 roll of TP provided so you may want to bring extra with you. All in all, we would stay at the cottage again just for the location. Hopefully some maintenance will be done soon which would help to make our next stay even better.

Great, cozy cottage
The cottage was fantastic and just what we were looking for. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The beach view is great, just know that you won't be able to access the beach at high tide, because the stairs will be under water. Also, the key box wont be at the door, so look carefully on the side of the house and don't freak out like we did.

Comfortable Cottage w/Great View!
The location of the cottage is great: very quiet and private. The view is spectacular! The cottage is quaint and generally comfortable. The outiside landscaping needs trimming and upkeep: very overgrown and neglected particularly at the approach to the cottage. The interior could use some updating. Overall, a nice experience. Would return.
