"Not made to feel welcome by reception & bar staff!
No loo roll in room and when I asked at reception for toilet rolls to be sent to room, I was informed that they don’t do room service and if we had wanted special requests in room then we should have emailed 24 hours before arrival - to be honest I had no idea what she was talking about!
Everything was too much trouble!
Music and lights turned off in bar between 10.50pm & 11pm leaving us to finish our bottle of wine in semi darkness!
At breakfast, music again was turned off and doors shut at 9.55am with staff coming in and out getting drinks from the buffet!
Terrible customer service.
Wouldn’t recommend and wouldn’t stay again! Britannia hotels have a very low standard. "
