"We stayed at Happy House in Roedean for a few days in mid-November. It was a terrific experience. The house is beautifully placed, about a mile and half away from Brighton Town centre. This gives the home a sense of apart-ness whilst being in easy reach of the town. The house is tastefully decorated and features everything that one would need for an excellent stay, including parking. It also benefits from unspoilt views of the sea."

"There are 2 sides to this review. The down sides were unfortunately the property was not clean enough. The remote controls, light switches, kitchen cupboards etc. were very dirty (all the areas where covid would be rife). I had to clean some of these myself. Also there was a cheese wrapper in the bedroom and lego on the dining chair which says to me it wasn't cleaned thoroughly. "This is a lovely property in a beautiful and peaceful area, with plenty of space for our kids to play. It is a good base for a number of activities around the south coast, we visited Knockhatch Adventure Park, Worthing Beach and the Clip N Climb at Tonbridge with relative ease though you do need a vehicle to get to most places. Diane is a friendly host who replies quickly to any questions or issues, very grateful to her for letting us use the tennis court at short notice! Would definitely stay...
