First, I want to mention that some members of the staff around the resort were genuinely kind and helpful. Housekeeping and a few employees in the common areas were friendly and welcoming, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, our experience at the steakhouse near the buffet was extremely disappointing. The service there was awful from the moment we sat down. Our server clearly did not want to be there and was very rude to our table the entire time. It felt like we were an inconvenience rather than guests. The food was also very poor. The salmon was served completely burned, and overall the meal was one of the worst we had during the trip. Another serious concern was the lack of security in the disco. There was no one monitoring the crowd or checking for people who were clearly overly intoxicated. On top of that, many people were smoking inside the club, and no staff members were addressing it. The environment felt unmanaged and uncomfortable. While parts of the resort and some staff members were pleasant, the poor restaurant experience and lack of oversight in the disco made the stay far less enjoyable than it should have been." And you wake up at 2 am in the morning with the sound of your neighbors coming home from their party, or at 5am to the sound of people waking up for their early flight. Or at 8 am with people having casual conversations in the covered walkway. You head to the buffet and there’s lots of food selection, most of them, not labeled, so you choose only what you are familiar with. You approach the server for cutlery coz no one is approaching you and pull out your language translation app because they’re trying to talk to you in Spanish and you couldn’t understand. The only good service I had was when I gave tip at the start of my meal. The fountain pop at the buffet tastes like chlorine. The Santa Fe took about an hour to get 2 pieces of steak served. The Coral we had to walk out after waiting for 20 minutes and no server to take our order. The Kyoto, we didn’t attend because there was a line up of 12 people ahead of us. Pool is cold! The only things I liked about this resort are the interior design, the room cleaners and minibar stockers, the presence of indoor shops, the strykers bar, the italian restaurant, the calm water at the beach, the turtles, on site pharmacy, pirates water park, the shuttle train and expensive golf.
