"This hotel is a little tired - the curtain rail in my room was broken, the curtains didn't pull all way across and there was a massive stain on the corridor carpet that looked dated. Could do with a refresh, but I guess it's reflected in the price."

"I had a lovely stay. The room was lovely and clean and the bed really comfortable. The beer and cocktails prices in the bar were very good but spirits with a mixer were very expensive at £8.40 for a vodka and tonic.. They do an amazing mud slide cocktail with ice cream. The best think about my stay was the wonderful Michaels on the reception desk. She was warm and welcoming. I needed to get something photo copied and she was beyond helpful. It’s also 5min drive from the beautiful Doddington hall. I would definitely stay there again."

"It was easy to find and there was space in the car park which was very convenient. We were given a lovely warm chocolate cookie on arrival and were able to check in by 1.30 pm which was also helpful. The upstairs bar had a small outdoor balcony with great views over the water. The choice at breakfast was excellent if a little cramped when busy as it was a help yourself. Great value stay!"
