"A lovely hotel right next to the Cathedral. Excellent breakfast, very friendly staff and spotlessly clean. No air-con in our room so it was very warm and we needed to keep the windows open. Very little outside noise to bother us though. Parking wasn’t a problem as the car park (and several others) were close by. Would highly recommend this hotel if you like to stay somewhere with character. "

"I have stayed at this resort many times and it always serves me well. Set in beautiful grounds on a lovely golf course with splendor of wildlife, landscape and flora, even the hardest to please couldn't crack a frown at this retreat. The building is charmed in character, the staff at utmost professional and efficient, the spa, pool and gym facilities are second to none. As for the rooms, they are spacious, nicely decorated and furnished to high standards with full AC and blacked out curtains, the restaurant is lovely and the bar and adjoining garden area where you can also eat is well manicured and has a fantastic vista. You will not be disappointed and the vfm is incredible."

"Was a comfortable place to stay, clean bed and the bed was just right; not too soft or too hard. Having the shower was a nice aspect especially during the heat experienced during the stay."

"If you want a nice base top of lincoln minutes from castle and cathedral this is it ! We had a two bedroom cottage next door to pub quiet after 1030 ish , plenty of room and well equipped we ate a salad in and drank waiting for 6 pm concert start .staff next door lovely and excellent breakfast served till 11am . Uber up hill is highly recommended at 4 quid ,enjoy the walk down !"
