Cliffside Modern Mountain Retreat

Located in the Southern San Juan Mountains 5 miles south of Purg Ski Resort, this home is perfectly situated for all your outdoor adventures.
This newly renovated updated modern retreat has 3 ensuite bedrooms, a spacious living and dining area and well equipped kitchen with Wolf Range and Coffee bar. At an elevation of 8700 feet, the views are breathtaking.
The south facing deck is perfect for enjoying the warmer months and soaking in the hot tub that is available for use May through October.

You will be in the sweet spot residing in the picturesque San Juan Mountains located halfway between downtown Durango and Silverton.

Whether you seek relaxation and recharging or the perfect place from which to stage all of your outdoor adventures, you will appreciate this coveted location.

This recently updated 2000 sq ft modern retreat has all you need for your perfect mountain escape. Sitting at an elevation of 8700 feet, this home boasts breathtaking down valley and cliff views.

Each bedroom has a private bathroom. A queen bed master and twin/king flex room are on the main floor. The family suite upstairs has a king bed and pull out love seat that is perfect for 2 adults and 2 small children.
The kitchen is well appointed with small appliances, a Wolf range and coffee bar with options for auto drip, Keurig and pour over styles. The dining table accommodates up to 10 people . The living room has ample comfortable seating and large screen TV perfect for movie nights or watching your favorite sporting events.

You won’t want to leave this lovely mountain retreat once you arrive, but we highly recommend that you do get out and explore all that the southern San Juan Mountains and near by towns have to offer.

Guests have access to entire house except locked storage spaces for house keeping.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay! There were only four of us but this house can easily accommodate more. My wife, two boys and I loved the well appointed, clean, freshly remodeled house, and the incredible back deck with million dollar views! My wife can’t stop talking about it. So beautiful! The location couldn’t be better. Minutes from Purgatory and half way between Durango and Silverton. There are two small bars/restaurants within minutes where you can hang out for a bit or just pickup some really good pizza at one or gourmet sliders at the other, for those nights you don’t want to cook. Mike was an excellent host! Checking in on us via text regularly but not too much. Just wanting to know if we needed anything. I appreciate that very much, but we didn’t. We had everything we needed. The remodel of this property was very well done. Everything works as it should. Dishes, silverware, utensils, cups, glasses, plates pots, pans, coffee pods etc. are all there. The cabin is very nice, well decorated and comfortable all around. I can’t recommend it enough. We are already planning to return. Book this place. You won’t regret it. It’s perfect!
