"The breakfast was buffet style and there were plenty food for all types. The staff were all young and helpful. The rooms were clean but very basic and there waa no fridge. The meals were very nice for dinner time and the drinks were hotel prices as expected. The pool, sauna and jacuzzi were very clean and the morning times was quite quiet."

"The reception staff were all lovely and super helpful. We had a minor problem with the shower and the receptionist sent the maintenance man straight away. We opted in for text alerts which was really helpful to ask questions about the restaurant, the pool etc. Unfortunately we didn’t use the pool on our first two days, then it was out of action on the final day of our trip, when we’d planned to go. But that was the only slight disappointment. The food in the Waterside Restaurant was lovely, and the service was great. We had eaten in other restaurants in the vicinity (The Courtyard and Tayside Marina) but the service in those wasn’t as good as The Waterside The cottage was clean and had everything we needed including fridge and dishwasher. We enjoyed the spacious balcony as the weather was sunny and we could sit out of an evening enjoying the peace and tranquility. We also remarked on the very well kept grounds "

"Unfortunately due to a outbreak of norovirus within the hotel we had to cut our break short. And my daughter has caught it also 😞. Up until then we were all having a lovely time. "

"Stayed here for 2 nights on the way up to the Isle of Harris for a week. Fantastic setting, right next to the river Tay, and our room, the Atholl Suite, was amazing. The staff were fantastic, all very friendly and helpful, but also very professional. From check in to the restaurant staff at breakfast and the lady who came to service the room - all brilliant. Management - if you read this, please make sure you give your staff a big collective pat on the back for the Jon they do - the staff are the heartbeat of a hotel. We will definitely stay here again in the future. Our only small niggle was the paint fumes in the room when we arrived as the decorators were painting the outside woodwork. That said, we opened the windows for a few hours and it cleared. Understandable I suppose, that they needed to make the most of some fine weather to get it done. "

"Room was very clean , hard working staff , the breakfast options were excellent , options at the bar could have been better and cheaper . Overall good couple of days which i would do again but you have to remember the working class ."

"It was such a relaxing few days. The staff were so friendly. Accommodation was special and although this time we didnt have a view it didn't take away from the room itself. The food was delicious and the ample breakfasts were a treat. Easy walk into Pitlochry and Festival Theatre very close by. "
