Crieff Hydro
10/10 Excellent
"First time staying at the Crieff Hydro, and we'll definitely be back again. All the staff not just reception but all over the hotel were extremely pleasant and helpful and took an interest in what you were doing and where you were from etc, very chatty. The Meikle restaurant is very nice and the menu although not expansive, has a good choice, especially the French onion soup, which is delicious. The overall look of the reception area and garden room is lovely and plenty of nice seating areas all around, our room was very spacious and comfortable, and although no air conditioning, they provided a very good upright fan, as only one of the windows opened very slightly. If you're looking to get your steps up, the room we were in was at the end of two very long corridors, there is a lift, but it only gets you halfway there, we were in room 179. Overall thoroughly enjoyed our stay, just what the doctor ordered."

The Angus Hotel & Spa by Compass Hospitality
10/10 Excellent
"Loved the large room I had and the king bed was so comfortable I slept well.
There is an elevator but also stairs so lugging baggage is challenging.
The breakfast buffet was fabulous! "

Westlands of Pitlochry

"Good easy parking

Scotlands Spa Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"The hotel itself is looking a little tired in places, but the bedrooms have been tastefully redecorated and have everything you need - comfy bed, good bathroom with shower cubicle, hairdryer, coffee machine, kettle, large smart TV, free WiFi and even an ironing board and iron.
It wasn't an issue for me, but the lift to the third (attic) floor wasn't working, and it wouldn't have been fun to carry large, heavy suitcases up the narrow stairs.
Breakfast was great - a good selection of hot and cold options. The hotel was very busy so we were asked to book in for a time slot for breakfast to help manage the numbers. This worked well though.
I didn't use the pool, gym or spa facilities."

The Landmark Hotel & SPA Leisure Club Dundee By Sunday
6/10 Okay
"We stayed in a deluxe double room, which was well presented and spacious, with a luxurious deep bath, separate shower, washbasin, and toilet. The room itself was clean and comfortable, and overall gave a good first impression.
When booking, the room advertised free guest WiFi; however, although the network appeared available, it would not connect or function at all. This would not have been a major issue, but we also received no 5G reception anywhere within the hotel. This may suit guests wanting to switch off and be a little “off grid,” but it is inconvenient if you still need access to emails or other phone functions.
The television also had issues, with several channels not working properly and others suffering from poor reception, causing the picture to jump and flicker throughout viewing.
The PIN code entry system for the doors was a nice touch and a welcome change from key cards that often need reactivating. However, we could not see an additional internal security lock on the door, which would have provided extra reassurance overnight. There was also a noticeable gap under the door, allowing light from the hallway to enter the room during the night. Guests who prefer a dark sleeping environment may find this disruptive, though it could likely be resolved with a simple draft excluder."
