"Very impressed to be staying in a hotel that has only just opened so obviously everything is spotless. I liked the style of the Garner and it has a very relaxed feel. Breakfast was in the pub next door but its not part of the hotel, however, the food was great. Remember not to ask for a full English though - its a full Scottish!!"

"The room was very spacious and clean. It seemed as it was recently refurbished. They were really accommodating and provided us with a packed breakfast as we had an early tour one day and couldn´t stay for breakfast. The buffet breakfast was good and freshly made. The guest house is very well communicated, it is about 30 min walk from the city centre but has restaurants 10 minutes away. Also the bus stop is right opposite the house. "Served as a nice base for our visit to Edinburgh and area. The house was comfortable & well equipped. The location was convenient to the highway, grocery stores & a nice local pub/restaurant. The host was responsive & even offered us use of the garage to store our golf clubs."
