2 good nights sleep. Good size room. King sixe bed and matress zzzzzz. Both meals and breakfasts were great. The staff are very pleasant and polite. They actually look like they enjoy working there. This could be because it is an NHS run hospital so less stressful on the staff. The views are of the River Clyde. Both days we watched the last ocean going steam paddle ship sail past it is the best sight and sound.

The staff at this hotel could not have been more welcoming, starting with reception, to house keeping, to the staff at the spa/pool and lastly but not least the restaurant staff. I have stayed in this hotel many times before. It is situated in the west end of Glasgow on the junction between Byres Road and Great Western Road. This gives you easy access to the amenities of the city centre via the subway on Byres Road but it’s less congested than the city centre. There are easy access to green spaces in the city, the Botanic Gardens and Kelvingrove. The hotel is very comfortable with an excellent breakfast. The staff have always been very helpful and friendly, to me anyway....
