"Plenty of parking and decent bar area, room was clean but with marks on curtains and few touch ups on the wall poorly done. Mattress was very uncomfortable, springs pushing through and tendency to fold toward middle of bed, otherwise great staff, very friendly"

"Could be outstanding but the kitchen lets them down. The location, hotel and staff are wonderful but the food is where the shine falls off. Decent menu but most of the food was bland, lacking taste or overly greasy (fish). Breakfast was wrong both mornings (even with simple request), kitchen needs to read the orders properly.. At the two dinners, both night people on tables around us were commenting on their food.. (which is such a shame for a lovely hotel..."

"Lovely clean room. The only criticism is the bathroom. It was lovely & clean but not very practical for someone who doesn't want a bath or sit down shower. Also the tempered glass doors were not practical. I dont think even your partner wants to see what you are doing in the bathroom! No privacy. The staff were excellent. "
