"This is a really good budget hotel and excellent value for money. Our room was really spacious, spotlessly clean and bed was comfortable. Good quality television for a low price hotel and all the channels I wanted. Which you often don't get with more expensive budget hotels. Air conditioning worked well and easy to use. I had breakfast in the main building- really nice ambience, everything spotlessly clean, service really friendly and helpful and my cooked breakfast was spot on. Small but quality choice of continental breakfast- the pastries were excellent and the coffee decent. The whole place seems really well looked after and well managed. We would definitely stay again at a Marston's and especially Highland Gate at Stirling. Thank you."

"A great hotel with very friendly and helpful staff (especially reception) at a fair price. Plenty of parking. Room was excellent, clean and spacious with good facilities, Strong Wi-Fi and great TV service (plenty of channels), Hotel allows takeaway deliveries and even provides dinning utilities. "Although the room was not the largest I’ve ever stayed in, and I would have liked better illumination to do my makeup, my stay was perfectly pleasant. The shower was a delight— a big shower head and lashings of hot water. Being an older building, the sound insulation was much better than in some more modern hotels, lending itself to a peaceful night’s sleep in a very comfortable bed. The location was very good for all that Stirling city centre had to offer. I have already booked another stay for next year."
