"The house was pretty much perfect! Great location, so, so peaceful (yes, there's a road right in front, but it's not the main one). Chance to see some excellent wildlife, we saw porpoises, otters, herons, various finches, house martins and so on. Great location for walks, can set off from the house and go up The Cobbler (pretty challenging), can also walk over to Tarbet on Loch Lomond for boat trips. Stunning driving roads over to Inverary and Benmore Botanic Gardens, both great days out. The house was spotlessly clean, the kitchen one of the best equipped I've seen in a holiday rental, great outdoor seating spaces to relax with stunning views, lovely bathrooms and some really nice small touches that make all the difference, such as the T V being logged into the owner's Netflix account and some milk in the fridge. I think the only thing we couldn't find were pegs to hang out out clothes from a soggy day (of course, it's summer in Scotland so there's rain!!). Not much doing in Arrochar, but that's fine for us, pub just a short walk away, what more could you want?!"

"We’ve had a wonderful 4 day break. The bungalow is right in the loch with amazing views. Douglas was a fantastic host - he came to meet us when we arrived, took us around the property and showed us the games room, kayaks, life vests etc. The remote control stopped working for the TV - Douglas came really quickly to fix it and ended up giving us his TV!! Couldn’t do enough for us - really great host!!"

"Loved our stay here. We brought the dog along too. Room was spotless and the rest of the hotel. Staff were extremely kind and helpful. They went above and beyond with things such as advising about the local area, providing fresh food at the breakfast buffet, an iron and board when needed and even remembering our dogs name! The other residents were also delightful. The place was packed at breakfast in the morning and staffing levels easily covered the needs of all the residents. Breakfast was great thank you! We felt so welcome. We will be back."
