Welcoming from the start with a pot of tea on arrival. Beautiful decor with homely feeling. Room and bed very comfortable and the breakfast is delicious - and all locally sourced where possible. Convenient for the town but need a car really to get down to the promenade. With ample street and some off road parking this wasn't an issue. Free wi-fi a bonus. Would definitely return.

Our weekend was set for some truffle hunting and we chose Munden House as our base. We were given the Dairy cottage which was warm and cute. Although we didn't make as much use of the place as we'd like to have, it was wonderfully cosy. The bedding was perfect for a luxury sleep. And the couple that run the hotel are charming and delightful to chat to. Highly recommended.

Plumber Manor is a perfect place to stay if you want a peaceful retreat in beautiful gardens , a comfortable bed and delicious food. It has a well stocked bar and the wine prices are reasonable. The only negative was the wifi was weak in the courtyard room we stayed in which caused ‘buffering’ when watching a film. We mentioned it to staff and it will be rectified. It is a family owned hotel so the service feels personal. Somewhere we would definitely like to return to. There are many...

We stayed at the marquis for one night as we were attending a wedding nearby. We had a lovely stay everyone was really friendly and helpful. The room was really nice with a comfortable bed and great view, and a tasty breakfast was included the next day. We would highly recommend staying if you're in the area, the location is fantastic and though we were only there for a short visit we hope to come back some day to spend some more time exploring the area!

I had a lovely stay at Stoneleigh barn, Rupert and Camilla were really helpful and attentive. My room was lovely and the bathroom was perfect. Everything was clean and tidy, the garden was beautiful and Nutmeg the dog was really sweet.

We had a wonderful stay at Manston guest house. We were made to feel so relaxed and at home, a service that is hard to find, even in the most expensive hotels. The room was cosy and the bed comfortable and after a nice sleep we had a lovely breakfast, cooked to order with fresh eggs from next door. Nothing was too much for Fiona and Justin the owners and if we're in Dorset again will definitely go back.
