"My wife and I had a wonderful stay, all the staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent and all locally sourced. Set in beautiful grounds and surroundings, very peaceful. Lovely pool and hot tub."

"Very friendly and helpful staff. Check in quick, given all the info we needed. Classic Double room was larger than expected. Well stocked tea and coffee and biscuits. Lovely clean bathroom,good shower, plenty of hot water. Continental breakfast was fine and catered for gluten free. We ate in the restaurant for dinner. A good selection of dishes at reasonable prices. The majority were gluten free. The food was excellent. The pub is next to the railway crossing and station, but no noise overnight. Would definitely recommend. "

"Room was clean and comfortable but the dj and music until 02:30 meant stopping by in Dorchester to break our journey to make sure we were not too tired for the following day was pointless. I thought being a pub they may be open till late but that was too much. "
