New Blanc Central Myeongdong

New Blanc Central Myeongdong

8/10 Good
"For me, the hotel can almost make or break a holiday, so I will give as much info here as I can to help other travellers! ❤️ Overall we had a great time. The hotel is nice and modern and except for our last night was very quiet. The last night was horrible. It had been cold and windy the day before, so I’m not sure if something came lose, but ALL night we would randomly here a sound like a basketball being dropped (BANG, BANg, BAng, Bang, bang…..) it happened every 2-10ish minutes and it woke us up constantly. It was awful. 😞 we told reception and they said they would investgate Other notes: - free laundry, excellent clean machines!! - the breakfast is bad. It’s cooked ahead of time, is VERY salty, and the “warm” dishes were cold. It’s okish for the jet lagged first morning, but skip it after!!! - the cafe on the second floor was closed the 7 days we were there - the rooftop patio is AWESOME, and the perfect place to take a mid-afternoon rest. We got drinks and snacks from nearby conbinis and played a game nearly every afternoon before going out for dinner - the housekeeping was excellent and they gave us fresh towels every day! - the reception was very friendly and helpful - the entryway to the room has an automatic light that you can’t turn off that will wake everyone up so no midnight washroom breaks! - there are TONS of little LED lights around the room, you can’t make it very dark so best to bring a sleep mask If it hadn’t been for the awful last night, 10/10!"
