The room was spotlessly clean and the location was convenient. The hotel is located between two different subway stations. While the stations aren’t exactly across the street, they are only about a 6-7 minute walk down the block.
Since the hotel is so close to Dongdaemun plaza, there are a ton of 24-hour establishments and night markets nearby. So, if you’re the type of person that likes to go clothes shopping at 3am in the morning, or grab burgers after a night of partying, this place might be up your alley.
Personally, I recommend grabbing a coffee in the morning and taking a stroll around the DDP. It’s a very interesting building and a nice way to start the day. There’s also the stream nearby which is worth checking out.
The only nitpick I have is that the rooms were a bit on the smaller side. However, I guess that’s to be expected as this tends to be the norm in Seoul, and East Asia in general. That being said, as someone who has stayed in a lot of different hotels in Seoul, larger hotel rooms can be found if you do a bit of searching.
Regardless, I had a pleasant and enjoyable stay. I wouldn’t be opposed to staying here again the next time I’m in Seoul.
