The neighbouring Huntsman pub does excellent beer and basic bar meals. The only thing missing is an electric kettle as boiling water can take a while."

"Quite far from us, and only for two nights, but based on reviews we decided to go. And we are very happy for our decision. Very nice place, jacuzzi waiting for us upon request nice and hot, views from the little garden are fantastic, we were lucky enough to have beautiful clear skies on the first night. "On time of booking i was lead to believe the shepherd's hut was mobility friendly with an access path gravelled piror to my arrival i received a text stating that the hut i booked and paid for someone else had got there first and i allocated the better one out of the two on arrival itself the 2nd hut had no path leading to the accommodation weather was bad so the grounds where wet soggy and muddy the hut wasnt describe as the owners stated bet one out of the two and certainly wasnt disable...

"The cottage is cosy, comfortable and beautifully renovated- everything has been thoughtfully designed and decorated for maximum convenience and comfort. The cove is on the doorstep, the garden is full of beautiful flowers and bunnies- it really is perfect! Pat was very welcoming and so kind. "Check in was flawless and quick. We were asked to choose our breakfast for the next morning and a time. I think this is a great process as it prevents waste. The breakfast the next morning was excellent. It was ready very quickly and cooked to perfection. Very spacious lounge available for guests. Room was very good. Great shower with plenty of hot water. Beds were very comfortable. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. We stayed for one night before a ferry to Ireland. We would definitely stay again and for a few days. "
