The owners left us a bottle of wine and some Welsh cookies, there was plenty of hot water, and the locals were friendly, relaxed and helpful."

"Absolutely amazing place. Loved the shepherd's hut, peaceful and private. Everything you needed was in there and really comfortable. Ginnie and Andrew couldn't do enough for you. Close enough to everything to explore. The pool was awesome (and the hot tub). Had a few games of foot golf which was so much fun. Would absolutely not hesitate to stay there again. Even had a lush digital welcome sign for me and my husband. Really was a super awesome place with the best owners Thanks both xxx"

"Immaculately clean and comfortable. Everybody was incredibly helpful and accommodating. All amenities such as shower and bed were perfect and breakfast was superb."

"We stayed at The Angel because we were attending a function there. The staff were very pleasant but it is quite basic. There is no breakfast and nearest car park about 5 minute walk. The rooms were ok but plenty of room for improvement. Rooms were quite cold, no carpet on floor so getting out of bed onto a cold floor woke you up! There are no staff over night at the hotel, I wouldn’t stay again."

"The heating in our room wasn't working when we arrived but it was sorted whilst we had supper which was great. The information on the website needs to be changed to say that there is no parking and directions to the nearest car parks added.
