"We stayed for 3 nights during a large family trip and booked three rooms. The location is excellent—close to Waikiki Beach, shops, and restaurants. The rooms were updated, which is why we chose this hotel. However, our experience fell short. The front desk staff at check-in felt dry and not very welcoming. Having visited Hawaii multiple times, we expected more of the “Aloha spirit.” Additional staff training would help. Our room had several issues. We found hair on the bathroom floor upon arrival, which was disappointing. The corner unit layout was awkward, with a very small, oddly shaped shower and a tiny sink with almost no counter space. There was also no hot water early in the morning—I had to shower with lukewarm water, and it took about 20 minutes for hot water to come through for my husband. Soundproofing was poor; we could clearly hear conversations from the next room both early morning and late at night, making it hard to rest. the other two rooms we booked for our parents were better. Still, despite the great location, the overall experience did not meet expectations. We would not choose to stay here again."

"The area is very noisy and it was very difficult for me to rest well. Also, the elevators were down most of time during my stay. I had to take stairs a few times. "

"We stayed on the West side, 8th floor and it was amazing. The room was large, staffwere friendly, and pool hours were great. Coffee place in concourse was awesome. Valet parking was easy. Would stay again."

"Rooms were clean, beds were small as they are double, the pool table and fuse ball table in the lobby were great for the kids! Location couldn’t be better"

"Unfortunately we had a very unpleasant week. The first couple of days cigarette smoke was coming into our room and eventually got moved to another slightly better room. we then had awfully loud neighbours who seemed to never leave their room but the musi. was so loud it would wake us up at all hours of the night. Admittedly these incidents are beyond the hotel's control; however the way they deal with them is what matters and that's what we had a problem with. Management seem to be never available, nobody is on duty until 7:30 we were told, most staff we encountered at this hotel seemed to not care about anything (except awesome Rachel in the restaurant). There was never any follow up about any complaints, nor explanation as the hotel procedures with guest concerns, even after 6 nights out of seven when security or management was called. Our resort fee, which is silly anyway, was eventually waived but we had to ask for that to be done, not proactively offered. Not a pleasant stay at all, and did not leave feeling like the staff cared at all."

"The property is well located, and the staff is generally willing to help as much as they can. About a week before my stay, I received a message from the hotel informing me that they would be working on the balconies. Unfortunately, the noise made it difficult to rest, and with workers both outside and inside the balconies, there was no privacy. I had to keep the curtains closed the entire time, so I couldn’t even enjoy the view."

"Great location. Less than 1 minute walk to waikiki beach. Super convenient to diamond head and the zoo. Hotel connected to ABC store and lulu’s restaurant. If you rent a car, 24 hr in and out Valet parking is worth not spending half your vacation in a parking deck in Waikiki. From this location, you can get on and off H1 in 5 minutes and avoid the traffic. Hotel pool overlooks the beach and diamond head. Beach/pool towels provided. Pool has bar service through lulu’s. Pool is ok, could use a refresh very soon. Room is clean and has good AC. We would stay here again. "
