"Unfortunately we had a very unpleasant week. The first couple of days cigarette smoke was coming into our room and eventually got moved to another slightly better room. we then had awfully loud neighbours who seemed to never leave their room but the musi. was so loud it would wake us up at all hours of the night. Admittedly these incidents are beyond the hotel's control; however the way they deal with them is what matters and that's what we had a problem with. Management seem to be never available, nobody is on duty until 7:30 we were told, most staff we encountered at this hotel seemed to not care about anything (except awesome Rachel in the restaurant). There was never any follow up about any complaints, nor explanation as the hotel procedures with guest concerns, even after 6 nights out of seven when security or management was called. Our resort fee, which is silly anyway, was eventually waived but we had to ask for that to be done, not proactively offered. Not a pleasant stay at all, and did not leave feeling like the staff cared at all."

"Breakfast was very good , beach is like 3 mins walk, if u go early to front desk, you can barrow chair for free for the beach. At the lobby you can find drinking Fountain with Bottle Filler Station. Rooms are very clean, soft sheets nice mattresses. "

"The property is well located, and the staff is generally willing to help as much as they can. About a week before my stay, I received a message from the hotel informing me that they would be working on the balconies. Unfortunately, the noise made it difficult to rest, and with workers both outside and inside the balconies, there was no privacy. I had to keep the curtains closed the entire time, so I couldn’t even enjoy the view."

"Great location. Less than 1 minute walk to waikiki beach. Super convenient to diamond head and the zoo. Hotel connected to ABC store and lulu’s restaurant. If you rent a car, 24 hr in and out Valet parking is worth not spending half your vacation in a parking deck in Waikiki. From this location, you can get on and off H1 in 5 minutes and avoid the traffic. Hotel pool overlooks the beach and diamond head. Beach/pool towels provided. Pool has bar service through lulu’s. Pool is ok, could use a refresh very soon. Room is clean and has good AC. We would stay here again. "

"Location on the Beach was beautiful. The hotel is in serious need of remodel. I feel the list of amenities was not correct. Our bed was smaller than a queen, the fan in bathroom didn't work. There is no gym, or bike rental on site. They only have one person at front desk doing 5 jobs, if you want towels for beach, or need help you have to wait while they are checking people in and answering phones. Our door to our room along with rooms by us won't shut. You have to slam them, because the door jams are off. Carpets through out old, table on linaii cracked, needs to be painted. Rust. The worst was the room had a wierd smell. The bar has 4 chairs to sit, all the other tables are empty with reserved signs for restaurant use only. The small lobby is open air, no place to sit outside, other than on the beach. Since no pool there is no outdoor space. "
