we enjoyed our stay at the hotel, the food was very good, the staff were all very friendly and catered to your needs. the spa facilities is one of the best in the country and lots of thoughts has gone into constructing the spa, attention to details!!!! the room was comfortable and clean thank you ...
Really enjoyed our stay the only issue was that the room did not have an exterior window so fresh air was minimal though it did have air conditioning. Staff were excellent friendly and helpful in every way. Hotel has a great location
We had a Deluxe Seaview room. It was perfect. Huge bed, huge room, lovely bathroom and a panoramic view from our balcony over the bay. It was a delight to stand out there as the sun was rising and setting and to see all the colours of the sky. To watch the fishing boats come in, followed by the birds ...
Owners clearly committed to providing a high quality experience. Breakfast options thought out and well cooked. whilst close to top end of chargable price,in my opinion very good stay.
Really nice hotel in a small village. Plenty of parking and with the hotel pub across the car park and a restaurant you have plenty of choices of meals. I booked a single room, the bed was pretty much a double with a well lit large bathroom. Breakfast was lovely and I would fully recommend this hotel ...
Absolutely smashing apartment couldn't wish for anything better. Perfect for families all the amenities you need. Staff very friendly and would highly recommend it. Would definitely stay again.
If you're looking for a suitable location for a romantic break then Devon immediately springs to mind. With Dartmoor's wild landscape of prehistoric mounds and lonely towers, and the rugged coastline with its hidden coves, Devon is a landscape of great variety that's perfectly suited to a romantic interlude. Think Daphne du Maurier and Sherlock Holmes with a bit of Thomas Hardy thrown in and you get the idea. There are numerous secluded guesthouses, self-catering cottages, B&Bs and luxury hotels across the county, and couples often prefer to go the whole hog and stay at one of Devon's romantic hotels for their intimate break.
Variety is the spice of life, and this is true of romance as well. The more opportunities you have of enjoying a good range of activities together, and the more experiences you have to share, the closer your bond will become. Fortunately, Devon has many outdoor activities and cultural attractions to enjoy, and staying at a romantic hotel here will provide you with the perfect environment and ambience you need for that special break. Whether you prefer being out in the countryside near Dartmoor or close to the city centre of Exeter or Plymouth, Devon has more than enough romantic hotels to go round.
Devon seems to have been tailor-made for romantic getaways. With its rugged and often dramatic coastline, historic cities such as Exeter and picturesque thatched cottages sprinkled across the countryside, you'll have plenty of opportunities for walking hand-in-hand around the attractions and enjoying blissful togetherness.
You may be here to celebrate a birthday or anniversary, or simply feel the need for some quality time in each other's company. Whatever your reason for coming to Devon you'll enjoy your break that bit more if candlelit suppers are on the agenda and roses strewn on your bed. Try one of Devon's many historic and spa hotels too if you want a romantic break, because they'll have the facilities to make it that much more special.
