Our room Suite 1 was fantastic with a beautiful view to the sea, you could listen to the crashing waves.

From the moment you step into cape welligama to the moment you leave, you are being looked after by the staff with such immense care and attention to detail. The responsiveness and personalisation is excellent, and a level of service I have not encountered in any hotel before. The resort is well set up for young families, and our room had easy access to what felt like a very private swimming pool. The swimming pools are set to have great views, and we had monkeys and peacocks come to say hello....

Had a brilliant two nights and three days at this hotel. The staff were super helpful and friendly. The level of service was superb and the best I have encountered in Sri Lanka and almost anywhere. Nothing was too much trouble and they noticed what you needed. The room was gorgeous. Spacious and comfortable and the food excellent. The fish was particularly good. This property is in an excellent position, 5mins to Hikkaduwa by tuk tuk and 40mins by bus to Galle. It is away from all tourism, quiet and relaxing. The locals in the area are very friendly and always say Hello, Good Morning when they see you or just give you a wave. It has much to do nearby and the beautiful private beach is only 5mins away.

We loved our stay at Ceylon Olive. Kumudu & Era could not have done more for us during our stay, even when I had made a mistake about booking the wrong room; they quickly helped us move to another. They helped us book excursions and recommendations on where to eat or visit. We would love to come back and visit in the future! Thank you for making our first trip to Sri Lanka so special!

Very spacious suite and very tasty breakfast. A 10 minute tuk tuk ride into the old town.

Great place for solo travellers. Comfortable and clean rooms. Excellent staff and proprietor who always make you feel happy and content. Superb location.

Lovely and friendly family who were very helpful. Nice quiet area other than the odd monkey running across the roof lol.
