The hotel is fabulous and very centrally located. The only problem was the Internet which was supposed to work from the lobb7. However, every day we had huge problems with it which resulted in very poor connectivity. With the price we paid, I expected to get free wifi, or at least wifi that worked.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is only open 5 nights a week and so unfortunately we were only able to eat there for 2 of the 4 nights we stayed there. The restaurant is excellent. Friday night is steak night. An excellent deal and a delicious steak. Wine prices were very good. We also enjoyed the crepes for dessert. The breakfast has an adequate cold buffet. Hard boiled eggs, cold meats, cereal, fruit and yogurt. There is also toast and the chef came out and offered us warmed croissant which were quite delicious.
Our room was comfortable, lots of counter space, 2 comfortable leather armchairs and fridge. We had a ground floor room and were able to sit outside on 2 evenings for a glass of wine on our patio. I think every room must overlook the bay and we were very happy with our view. We had some cool nights but the a/c / heater worked well and we were never cold. My only complaint was in regard to the closet space. I have a personal dislike for the kind of hangers that need to be hooked into the permanent hook and to make matters worse in order to allow a narrower closet the hangers were turned so that they went from front to rear making re-hanging items in the rear of the closet challenging!
I would recommend this hotel without hesitation. It is in a quiet part of the town and has excellent and easy parking. It is only a short distance to walk into the town and visit the stores, coffee shops and restaurants.

Value-for-money, family friendly, short drive from Tanuda (town for groceries) and Wine country. Hotel was generally clean and in a nice setting. Daily wine tastings were a nice touch.
Only major gripe would be the lack of free wifi for the entire duration of the stay..limited only to 30 minutes a day
