The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, and we were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded for free, which we appreciated. The location is very convenient and made getting around easy. The shower had good water pressure and didn’t leak. That said, there were some drawbacks. Annoyingly, there was no safe in the room, which felt like an oversight. Worst of all, 3 out of the 4 plug sockets stopped working; we didn’t report this as we didn’t want an electrician coming in while we were out (due to lack of safe!), nor did we want to have to change rooms. Other reviewers mentioned street noise, and they weren’t wrong - even on the 5th floor, we could hear people shouting at night. The air conditioning is confusing to operate, and breakfast wasn’t up to much. Overall, not a bad stay, but there’s room for improvement in a few key areas." Excellent location with plenty of places to eat located around the hotel in the old town. We didnt get to use the spa or gym but on my next visit I will definitely check them out.
