The shared spaces were absolutely marvelous, like stepping back in time. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful throughout. This is a true gem of a hotel that gives you an unforgettable experience and it is located very near the old town and most things you will likely visit. Highly recommended. The only minor limitation was that the breakfast is nothing special. It’s not that it was bad, and the coffee was actually excellent, but the choice is rather limited and always the same. The location is close to a great shopping centre with good food outlets and in walking distance to the Bucharest North train station. Only thing I would not recommend is going for breakfast after 9am, it’s so busy, no chance of a table and very overcrowded. Go before 9am, it was a different experience altogether. Overall, I would stay here again for sure.
