Firstly, if you are driving make sure you know exactly where you are going, and that they can provide parking - there is only room for 2 cars in the tunnel to their courtyard. To get to the hotel you have to drive INTO the Citadel. Do not rely on a Sat Nav or you will end up on a narrow cobbled lane below the walls. Not recommended. It is a very old building. You will hear everything going on around you. It echos loudly. Laundry facilities are listed in the details, it is not facilities it is a service. They are reasonably quick and reasonably priced, but you need to hand your laundry in early Breakfast very good, staff friendly. Lovely stay could not recommend more. This is such a lovely place to stay. Really lovely HUGE room - pretty and super comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and a good range of different options. A local, home-made specialty was served for breakfast on Sunday, my room was very spacious with a view on the clock tower.
