trails and had easy access to US-41 and downtown. The cabin was clean and very well cared for, had window A/C in the upstairs room, and had plenty of room for two. The neighborhood is full of trees and was quiet without being isolated. We would certainly stay again if we come back to Houghton."

"We had a great stay here. Very nice place and plenty of day trips to take from here. The owners are very responsive and really nice as well. We noticed when we arrived that the propane was almost empty, we contacted them and we had a new tank within the hour! Would definitely recommend staying here!"

"I was not happy to find that there is no staff on site when you check in. you have to use a kiosk to check in. I do not feel comfortable with knowing that the kiosk now has my credit card information and my drivers license information and the lady on the kiosk was from the Philippians. you need to have local staff available. the breakfast is very limited. The rooms were sufficient with all the basic needs covered. as we were aware of at time of booking. very quiet area, no issues...
