Fabulous accommodation, friendly and helpful staff

What a lovely place to stay ! The staff were so lovely and attentive, making us feel very welcome. The villa was lovely and tranquil, with beautiful views of the paddy fields.

Amazing lodges, loads of space and really atmospheric. Staff very friendly and helpful. Lovely food and unusual but great pool. Definitely recommend.

I travel for around 3 months each year and stay in a lot of five star hotels during my trips. The Datai Langkawi provided a very special experience indeed. From the amazing breakfast buffet, the landscaping, to the tours with the in-house naturalist, the Datai had it all!

Beautiful hotel with lovely, accommodating staff. We had such a relaxing 6 nights here where nothing is too much trouble! I’d recommend this hotel to anyone and would love to come back soon!

Looks exactly like the pictures lovely quiet unspoilt location with great pool and friendly staff, although the staff on the tour desk and reception could have been a bit more knowledgeable on the activities and local markets etc and how to settle the account at the hotel

One of the most delightful hotels I have ever stayed in. The staff are outstanding. The hospitality feels more like staying in the home of good friends than a normal commercial hotel experience. The warmth of welcome goes well beyond just polite and efficient service, though they provide that too. Don't worry about the steep hill. Staff will drive you to your door in a four-wheel drive vehicle if you can't manage the climb. But we usually walked up. I counted about 250 steps from the bottom...

We had a great stay in April. We used the beach villa which was very comfortable for our family of four.

Very nice hotel in a quiet area on 1.5kmts from the airport. Unfortunately this means that you have to travel to get to the beaches and nightlife. The buffet breakfast was good with many Asian choices and eggs fresh-cooked anyway you like. I recommend getting the Grab app as they were excellent for travelling around and very, very cheap. Everyone uses them, including the hotel if you ask them to call a cab! Cenang beach is the main hub for beach activities and Kuah for the best hotels (5-star...

We spent four nights here. We stayed in a sea view studio. The room was large, the view was great. The roof pool and bar were really good, and there is a small beach close by, just ask and you’re taken there in a buggy. The staff are very helpful and friendly. If we return to Langkawi, we will stay here again. Tips: Take your own shower gel as you only get shampoo and conditioner and use the Grab app for getting cabs.

The hotel itself is very new and well maintained, with an amazing view of the ocean. The staff are very exceptionally friendly and happy to accommodate questions and requests. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Amazing experience, staff were the kindest too and were super easy to communicate with overwhatsapp whenever needed. The location of this villa is also super convenient near pentai cenang the main street in langkawi and high up on the mountain so the views were amazing too. highly highly recommend. Shout out to Ummi and Hafiz for being so great in addressing all our needs <3

The place was lovely especially the pool. You do have to understand that you are very much in nature so there were bugs in our room but it wasn't an issue. Shower was great staff were lovely. We only stayed one night as we had another place booked but the nature around us was lovely to hear and see. Breakfast was a buffet so got to try lots of bits and again the staff were there to explain what the bits were. Lovely stay.

We stayed at Temple Tree for 2 nights as part of our honeymoon and couldn’t have had a more amazing stay. We were greeted with a drink and cookie upon check-in, then upgraded to a four-bedroom villa with a private pool which was incredible and so appreciated. We loved the history of the houses which were so unique but still beautifully decorated with everything you could need. We were even provided with insect repellent.
