Very nice hotel in a quiet area on 1.5kmts from the airport. Unfortunately this means that you have to travel to get to the beaches and nightlife. The buffet breakfast was good with many Asian choices and eggs fresh-cooked anyway you like. I recommend getting the Grab app as they were excellent for travelling around and very, very cheap. We stayed in a sea view studio. The room was large, the view was great. The roof pool and bar were really good, and there is a small beach close by, just ask and you’re taken there in a buggy.
The staff are very helpful and friendly. If we return to Langkawi, we will stay here again.
Tips: Take your own shower gel as you only get shampoo and conditioner and use the Grab app for getting cabs.

Friendly and fantastic service from staff. We had a pleasant stay as the hotel was clean and cosy. Pool was fine but wasn't deep enough for a tall person to swim and the beach is a taxi ride away about 20 minutes.

Beautiful island, great hotel, fantastic restaurant, helpful & friendly staff. I can’t praise this place highly enough.
TBH the maintenance is slightly behind the curve (they had to fix the lights and hot water, but did so promptly). But if it was five star perfection the cost would reflect that.

One of the most delightful hotels I have ever stayed in. The staff are outstanding. The hospitality feels more like staying in the home of good friends than a normal commercial hotel experience. The warmth of welcome goes well beyond just polite and efficient service, though they provide that too.
Don't worry about the steep hill. Staff will drive you to your door in a four-wheel drive vehicle if you can't manage the climb. But we usually walked up. I counted about 250 steps from the bottom...

This place is arguably the best place to stay in Langkawi. Although this is slightly far from Ce Nang, it is not a concern. We came during weekdays but in summer where the crowds are comparatively higher, but never faced difficulties to get grab from this place. This is super close to the airport, barely 5 min ride. You wont face the issue of plane sound at night as there are no flights operating in the night. The issue of mosquitos is true and concerning here. But that wasn’t a problem for us...

We had an amazing 7 night stay at The Camar, the room was very comfortable and overlooked the great long pool, Breakfast was good, the staff were truly wonderful. The location is on a pretty beach on the edge of town, away from all the clamor but near enough for either a long walk or short taxi ride. The hotel run a scuttle service. There are pretty of restaurants and bars in the area. Would highly recommend

I stayed at this resort with my family, we were wowed the minute we arrived, it’s been our favorite part of the trip.
Heaven on earth stunning beach, lovely staff they can’t do enough for you and service with a smile.
The only negative thing is it’s far away from everything, hire a car if it’s an issue for you, we managed with taxis.
We will definitely be back.

We stayed for 2 nights at Fuuka. This villa is new, clean, modern, and I like it. Compare to most of hotels with the same budget, I think Fuuka gives a good stay. The location is in Jalan pantai tengah in the opposite of Tropical, and behind the sunkaraoke. I rent the the room without kitchen.
Room and bathroom are very clean, 1 big window, and 1 corner window, and there's a terrace. Air con ok, water heater ok, hairdryer is available, kettle is available, but there is no complete toiletress....
