Pelangi Beach Resort & Spa, Langkawi

Langkawi

Returned for my 4th visit after a 5 year break due to Malaysia being closed to foreign tourists. The hotel has been extensively renovated during the lockdowm so we spent much more time by the pool and the rooms were great. Miss the vibe of the Cba beach bar. The pelangi grill feels more like a restaurant than a bar. Stayed for 3 nights and noticed the buffets were smaller than before covid and the options were fairly consistent for the 3 nights we were there. Would have liked more variety...

Temple Tree Resort

Langkawi

10/10 Excellent

We stayed at Temple Tree for 2 nights as part of our honeymoon and couldn’t have had a more amazing stay. We were greeted with a drink and cookie upon check-in, then upgraded to a four-bedroom villa with a private pool which was incredible and so appreciated. We loved the history of the houses which were so unique but still beautifully decorated with everything you could need. We were even provided with insect repellent. The hotel grounds are beautiful, as is the setting. Only a few minutes’...

Sunday Telaga Terrace Boutique Resort

Langkawi

10/10 Excellent

I stayed for 7 nights, this is a nice clean modern hotel, spacious bathroom with good shower, every room has its own seating area outside the room. Breakfast is served by the pool included, eggs, toast, cereal, this is more than adequate but for those who want more there are plenty of restaurants serving breakfast in the town. The staff are all friendly and helpful and polie, rooms cleaned daily, free water, tea & coffee and toiletries. Free wifi throughout the hotel. Plenty of parking. The...

The RIYAZ Lavanya Langkawi

Langkawi

10/10 Excellent

We spent four nights here. We stayed in a sea view studio. The room was large, the view was great. The roof pool and bar were really good, and there is a small beach close by, just ask and you’re taken there in a buggy. The staff are very helpful and friendly. If we return to Langkawi, we will stay here again. Tips: Take your own shower gel as you only get shampoo and conditioner and use the Grab app for getting cabs.

Ambong Rainforest Retreat

Langkawi

10/10 Excellent

One of the most delightful hotels I have ever stayed in. The staff are outstanding. The hospitality feels more like staying in the home of good friends than a normal commercial hotel experience. The warmth of welcome goes well beyond just polite and efficient service, though they provide that too. Don't worry about the steep hill. Staff will drive you to your door in a four-wheel drive vehicle if you can't manage the climb. But we usually walked up. I counted about 250 steps from the bottom...

Coconut Beach Villa Langkawi

Langkawi

10/10 Excellent

This place is arguably the best place to stay in Langkawi. Although this is slightly far from Ce Nang, it is not a concern. We came during weekdays but in summer where the crowds are comparatively higher, but never faced difficulties to get grab from this place. This is super close to the airport, barely 5 min ride. You wont face the issue of plane sound at night as there are no flights operating in the night. The issue of mosquitos is true and concerning here. But that wasn’t a problem for us...

The Smith House

Langkawi

10/10 Excellent

Very nice hotel in a quiet area on 1.5kmts from the airport. Unfortunately this means that you have to travel to get to the beaches and nightlife. The buffet breakfast was good with many Asian choices and eggs fresh-cooked anyway you like. I recommend getting the Grab app as they were excellent for travelling around and very, very cheap. Everyone uses them, including the hotel if you ask them to call a cab! Cenang beach is the main hub for beach activities and Kuah for the best hotels (5-star...

Berjaya Langkawi Resort

A taste of paradise being in the rain fiorest and still see the sea. Hotel staff were all friendly, our chalet was a bit dated but it added to the natural surroundings, the floor boards could be looked at creeked all the time. Views were amazing and you felt like you were living in the rain forest close to nature with so many animals and birds to see. Food was very good and liked how we could choose which restaurant to dine in each night. As far as eco more needs to be fone as plastic water...

Camar Resort Langkawi

Langkawi

10/10 Excellent

We had an amazing 7 night stay at The Camar, the room was very comfortable and overlooked the great long pool, Breakfast was good, the staff were truly wonderful. The location is on a pretty beach on the edge of town, away from all the clamor but near enough for either a long walk or short taxi ride. The hotel run a scuttle service. There are pretty of restaurants and bars in the area. Would highly recommend
