Very comfortable stay and fully enjoyed the location

This is a great location for exploring Norfolk. We were only there one night but it was peaceful and accommodated all 3 of us with our dog. The owner was excellent with her communication but not at all intrusive. Nice touches like our own private garden with a BBQ where they kindly left some coals so we had the option to use it.

Tucked away in a little hamlet, this delightful guest house is a gem of a find. Everything is well maintained, beautifully furnished, comfortable and clean. Breakfast was as good as it gets, all personally served at the table in the large modern kitchen diner. The staff were kind, helpful and with a good degree of local knowledge. There is a hot tub in the garden and just steps away from the local pub which serves good food. We have no hesitation in saying you will be very happy to stay there....

I needed a overnight stopover on route to Peterborough, so research i did, i located this hidden gem. Recently returned from a great four nights stay for our first visit to the Northdale. From arrival to departure everything was Excellent.greeting on arrival by the owners Melanie and Chris and we appreciated the tea and coffee that was provided whilst discussing the hotel and facilities.We booked a twin superior room (1) which is big room and as a very comfortable King size bed.There even a welcome basket of fruit and teas making facilitys which is replaced each day. If you are looking for an authentic British inn in the modern style look no further. Great village location, superb food, great beer, beautiful rooms, friendly staff and a 'real breakfast'. Intrigued ..go there.

Very friendly staff , gorgeous room with huge comfy bed! Mineral water ,luxury soap etc and hot chocolate for the kids!! Lovely breakfast and wonderful service ! The best thing was our little dog was welcome too in the hotel and the pub. Great location as it makes a nice stop when visiting center parcs especially if your bringing your doggy friend ! The staff were really friendly and approachable. The meal I had was one of the best I've had in a long while. The room was really clean with a Nespresso coffee machine which for me was a really nice touch as I love my coffee. The shower was lovely and hot. Lovely pub with rooms. Staff were very helpful and friendly and our room was cosy and quiet. We had breakfast and dinner, both of which were excellent. Parking was no problem and the pub provided a good base for exploring Cambridge and the Fens.

Highly recommend. Gorgeous restaurant and rooms with a beautiful courtyard garden. Perfect for us with two children who were in same building but floor above via internal staircase. Car park just round the corner had to pay separately for but plenty spaces. Bed was fine but could have been more comfortable and slippers would be good but appreciated the robes. A lovely warm welcome (home made cookies!) and a very comfortable stay. The room was spacious, beds huge, bathroom accessible, bathroom products divine, and there was lots of storage space. Walking distance to the beach and to The Ship Inn, and easy driving distance to other interesting places to visit: Felbrigg Hall, Holt, Blakeney (seal safari) and Wells Next The Sea all worth a visit. Breakfast was lovely and service excellent.

A flying visit, arriving late and leaving early. Welcoming and comfortable, however the overwhelming standout and the reason that I will definitely return is the food - dinner and breakfast were both exceptional.

We loved our stay in the Abbey Hotel and apartments, the staff, breakfast & attention to detail were amazing. Very easy walk into the town centre with its unique shops, pubs & restaurants, also not forgetting the Cathedral & Abbey Gardens. Bury St Edmunds is a must to visit.

We had a 'superior' room/apartment, and it really was superior. An entrance hall, bedroom plus ensuite bathroom, AND a large sitting room/kitchen. Fantastic. And not noisy despite overlooking Saturday Market Place and being at one end of the High Street. Parking is available, in Saturday Market Place, and not cheap, but go a little further afield and find a long term parking car park and cost is reduced.
